About The Thick Madames

It all started over ribs and fries at TGIS

The Thick Madames came about by a conversation amongst a group of friends, having at TGIs Friday. The idea of something different landing in the plus size community triggered us to think how best we could pull this off.

Having this keen interest, the name Thick Madames was created, Once our name was established we started to gather our ideas and work towards our aims and how best to reach our target audience.

​

We created a facebook page,Meetup group, Instagram account and we are planning a podcast.

​

Our aim is to plan social events for all to participate in and not feel judged but to enjoy and have fun, we only live once so CARPE Deim

​

The Thick Madames aims to create a world in which people value their unique identities and are liberated from self-hatred so they can optimise their energy and intellect, into something positive and fun.

​

The Thick Madames want to empower women and men of all ages and size, to try something new. this hopefully will allow individuals to come out of their comfort zone.

The Thick Madames aim to plan and host social events, plan inclusive nights out ( plus and non plus size nights out), dinner and cocktails dates. Afternoon tea, movies, day trips and holidays.
