Being a plus size woman is hard. no kidding. especially when it comes to nights out. There seems to be an unwritten rule that PLUS SIZE WOMAN DO NOT GO TO NIGHT CLUBS. Honestly, when you turn up to a normal night out ( when i mean normal i mean skinny). From the moment you arrive at the club you have eyes follow you around like TMZ following the Kardashians. Not only is that uncomfortable its not needed. at all. Then you will have skinny men with daddy issues play try to hook up with the piggy. Fellas just cause we are there, doesn't mean we are that desperate to have you follow us around and try to score points with your friends whilst pushing the fatphobia to another tier. I for one know me and my friends don't stand for that and will cuss you and your whole family out just for thinking you had a chance.

As a plus size woman being in the club can be a traumatic experience, either you are the coat holder or cock block for your skinny friends. I decided to change all this when i met my thick madames. i had enough of being eye followed as if i am a thief. you'd think in 2019 people would put that ignorance to once side and let people be. Our fat asses turn up and get turnt all the way up. we've learnt that damned if you do , damned if you don't. Besides we all paid at the door so we are here to get out moneys worth, so you can take your hating ass to the corner and grow up. I still have many plus size friends that don't go out because of fear of being ridiculed, i understand where they are coming from and that's why the thick madames was created, to break down these barriers and to announce we are here, whilst shaking what your mother gave you and having the time of your life.

On top of that we get the other plus size women out or just normal women in general who when they see you having the time of your life congratulate you as if being fat is a disability or something, its not plus who says disabled people also can't have a good time, all this needs to stop. Don't congratulate a woman for doing what others are, i believe i am a normal person but there is more of me to love and to have fun with. Fat is a word. one that no longer holds that much power as we are coming into our own and having fun. I think its time for all my plus size women to join me on a night out in knightsbridge so these promoters and attendees can stop with the bull. another thing when they take pictures. YOURS WILL NEVER APPEAR ON ANY SOCIAL MEDIA OR ANYTHING. with that all being said, my plus sized women, its not a must for you to join in at "normal " nights out. there are many plus sized nights that cater to those that would feel more comfortable in that setting. Such as BGP etc. With that being said it is time that our asses are allowed into normal clubs, the thick madames are here to break down the doors and change this. or we destined to forever be in the shadows.
